She enjoys helping patients recover from injuries, improve their movement, reduce pain, and safely return to their everyday activities. As a Brunswick physical therapist, she is committed to comprehensive care for her patients.
Her clinical interests include:
- Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
- Musculoskeletal injuries
- Pain management
- Improving strength and mobility
- Helping patients return to work, recreation, and daily activities
Continuing Education and Professional Development
Emily has completed Level 1A training in dry needling. She uses her education and clinical experience to provide individualized, evidence-based care based on each patient’s needs and goals. In fact, staying current in her profession is important to Emily’s role as a Brunswick physical therapist.
Inspired to Become a Physical Therapist
Emily was introduced to physical therapy after experiencing an injury as a child. That experience gave her an early look at the profession and the difference physical therapy can make in someone’s recovery. This formative experience ultimately inspired her to pursue a career as a physical therapist in Brunswick, passionate about helping others heal.
She was also drawn to physical therapy because it allows her to form meaningful relationships with her patients. Unlike some healthcare settings where providers may only see a patient once or twice a year, physical therapy gives Emily the opportunity to support patients throughout their recovery and celebrate their progress along the way.
Approach to Patient Care
Emily works to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and involved in their care. As a caring Brunswick physical therapist, she believes each patient should understand their treatment and have an active role in their recovery.
Her goal is to help patients move better, feel better, and return to the activities that matter most to them. Emily takes the time to understand each person’s concerns, goals, and lifestyle so she can create a treatment plan that feels personal and achievable.
Outside the Clinic
Outside of work, Emily enjoys rock climbing, hiking, camping, backpacking, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She also loves spending quality time with her partner, friends, and family. Interestingly, even while away from work, her community often seeks her out for advice as their trusted Brunswick physical therapist.
