Delaney Gaetano, PT, DPT, is the Clinic Supervisor at Reform Physical Therapy’s Freeport clinic. Since joining the Reform team in 2018, she has helped patients reduce pain, restore movement, and improve their quality of life through personalized, one-on-one physical therapy.

As an experienced physical therapist, Delaney combines evidence-based treatment with a compassionate, whole-person approach to care. She believes successful rehabilitation starts with listening, understanding each patient’s goals, and developing a treatment plan that supports long-term success.

Personalized Physical Therapy Care in Freeport

Delaney earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College and has continued expanding her clinical expertise through advanced education in orthopedic rehabilitation, chronic pain management, vestibular rehabilitation, women’s health, and fall prevention.

Patients receive individualized care designed around their lifestyle, goals, and unique movement challenges. Whether recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or improving balance, Delaney creates personalized treatment plans that help patients regain confidence and return to the activities they enjoy.

Chronic Pain, Headache, and Balance Rehabilitation Expertise

Delaney specializes in treating a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. She has extensive experience helping patients with neck pain, low back pain, shoulder injuries, vestibular disorders, gait abnormalities, and balance impairments.

One of her clinical passions is helping patients experiencing chronic headaches and persistent pain. Through skilled manual therapy, movement-based rehabilitation, and evidence-based treatment techniques, she works to address the underlying causes of pain rather than simply treating symptoms.

Her calm, patient-centered approach helps individuals feel comfortable, supported, and empowered throughout their recovery.

Advanced Training and Whole-Body Care

Delaney has completed advanced training in Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, pregnancy rehabilitation, fall prevention, and pain neuroscience education.

She understands the important role the nervous system plays in pain, healing, and movement. By considering the entire body—not just the injured area—Delaney develops comprehensive treatment plans that promote lasting improvements in strength, mobility, balance, and overall function.

Delaney’s Approach to Patient Care

Delaney believes every patient deserves compassionate, individualized care. She takes time to educate patients about their condition, explain the purpose behind each treatment, and build confidence throughout the rehabilitation process.

As Clinic Supervisor of Reform Physical Therapy’s Freeport clinic, Delaney is committed to maintaining the high standard of one-on-one care that defines Reform while fostering a welcoming, supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Life Outside the Clinic

Outside of work, Delaney enjoys baking new recipes, gardening, and exploring Portland’s local restaurants, shops, and outdoor spaces with her husband and their rescue dog. Her appreciation for healthy, active living helps her connect with patients working toward returning to the activities they love.
