Alexis (Lexi) Williams, PT, DPT

Helping You Move Better, Feel Stronger, and Get Back to What You Love
Alexis “Lexi” Williams, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at Reform Physical Therapy’s South Portland clinic. She is passionate about helping people regain confidence in their movement, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most to them. Lexi believes every patient deserves individualized care. Therefore, she works closely with each person to develop a treatment plan that aligns with their goals, lifestyle, and long-term health.
A lifelong Mainer, Lexi earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Husson University in 2024 before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2026. Throughout her education, she completed clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedic settings and a skilled nursing facility. As a result, she gained experience treating patients with a wide range of orthopedic injuries, post-surgical conditions, balance impairments, and medically complex diagnoses.
Lexi has a special interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, injury prevention, post-surgical recovery, and helping individuals safely return to work, sports, and everyday activities. She enjoys educating patients about their condition, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery, and creating personalized treatment plans that promote lasting results.
Her treatment approach combines evidence-based practice with hands-on care, therapeutic exercise, movement analysis, and functional training to improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. In addition, whether someone is recovering from surgery, dealing with a new injury, or managing persistent pain, Lexi strives to create a welcoming environment. In this environment, every patient feels heard, supported, and motivated throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Outside of the clinic, Lexi enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. She loves hiking, running, playing tennis, and field hockey, and enjoys exploring all that Maine has to offer. She is also an avid board game enthusiast and loves spending time with her German Shepherd.
