Alex Tsomides, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist – Brunswick

Alex is a gifted and compassionate therapist who joined our Brunswick team in 2022. Alex grew up in Saco, ME and attended Thornton Academy High School where he participated in hockey, baseball, and golf. After graduating from high school, Alex went on to continue his studies at Husson University in Bangor, earning his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2018, followed by his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020.

Once he had earned his doctorate, Alex jumped straight into treating and worked in an outpatient & mobile-outpatient setting where he gained expansive experience in treating patients with all varieties of injuries and conditions. Rotator cuff injuries & repairs, joint replacements, and neurological conditions were among the most common conditions Alex treated and gained extensive knowledge on. Though he is confident in treating any musculoskeletal issue, he finds the greatest satisfaction in treating those with postural imbalances, coordination dysfunctions, pre- & post-operative needs, and patients experiencing chronic lower back pain. Alex’s calm and reassuring demeanor aids him in achieving his goal of helping his patients recover from their injuries while encouraging them to be proactive with their health.

When not at the clinic, Alex keeps himself active by trying out new hiking spots, kayaking in New England’s vast array of waters, or playing a solid round of golf. It’s also likely that you’ll find him catching a good football or hockey game on TV, or out walking his two pups, Maya & Maggie.
