Carrie Chase, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at Reform Physical Therapy’s Kennebunk clinic. She provides compassionate, individualized care focused on improving mobility, building strength, and helping people return to the activities they love. Carrie believes movement plays an important role in overall health and that staying active is key to maintaining independence and quality of life. Through education, encouragement, and personalized rehabilitation, her goal is to help each patient feel stronger, move with confidence, and return to the activities they enjoy most.
A Southern Maine native, Carrie grew up with a love for sports, outdoor activities, and staying active. Her passion for movement and helping others inspired her to pursue a career in physical therapy. In this field, she could combine her interest in the human body with her desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives.
A Personalized Approach to Physical Therapy
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Husson University in 2023 before continuing her education at the University of New England, where she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2026.
Throughout her education and clinical experiences, she developed a strong foundation in movement science, rehabilitation, and individualized patient care.
Additionally, she gained a deeper appreciation for helping patients improve their mobility, restore independence, and return to the activities they enjoy most. She also values the importance of creating treatment plans that support each person’s unique goals and lifestyle.
Carrie enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, helping them recover from injuries, improve mobility, and regain independence. While she loves treating a wide variety of conditions, she has a special interest in working with older adults. Furthermore, she enjoys helping them maintain strength, confidence, and the ability to continue doing the activities they love.
Her approach to physical therapy focuses on building strong relationships with her patients through encouragement, education, and personalized rehabilitation. Whether someone is recovering after surgery, managing pain, improving balance, or working toward a specific goal, Carrie is committed to helping each patient feel supported every step of the way.
Outside the Clinic
Outside the clinic, Carrie enjoys living an active Maine lifestyle. A lifelong runner, she started running in high school and continues to compete in races throughout Southern Maine and New Hampshire. She also enjoys snowshoeing, skiing, biking, walking, reading, baking, trying new recipes, and spending time with family and friends.
Carrie’s favorite adventure buddy is her goldendoodle, Benny. Whether they’re going for walks, runs, ice cream dates, or snowshoeing together during the winter months, she loves spending time outdoors and staying active whenever she can.
