Physical Therapist – South Portland

Mackenzie is a New England native who earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, ME, and went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in Portland. Throughout undergrad, Mackenzie played lacrosse and served as captain of the cross-country team.

Her background in long-distance running and competitive sports fuels her passion for exercise psychology and fostering motivation throughout the rehabilitation process. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based care rooted in the bio-psycho-social model, with a strong focus on treating the whole person—not just the injury. Mackenzie has a special interest in balance training, neuro-recovery, and helping patients reconnect with movement in meaningful ways. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and activity levels and is committed to creating a supportive, individualized experience that empowers each patient on their path to wellness.

Outside of the clinic, Mackenzie enjoys camping, hiking, paddleboarding, and going on long walks with dogs. She also loves baking, crafting, and spending quality time with friends and family.
