Physical Therapist – Freeport

Alex joined our Freeport Team in 2023 following the passing of his Physical Therapy boards. He was born & raised and attended college all in our grand state of Maine! Alex was raised in Sidney where he played soccer and ran track throughout his high school career. He then continued his studies at Husson University earning Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and subsequently earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. If PT school had not been a proper fit, his backup plan was to become a Sports Analyst. Lucky for us, his intuition was correct and Physical Therapy was the correct choice for him! His exceptional grades are adequate proof of that.

Prior to graduation and passing his boards, Alex interned at our Topsham and Freeport clinics. During his time as an intern, he found success in helping to treat both experienced and beginner athletes, as well as patients recovering from surgery, and those experiencing general aches and pains. Alex found value in Reform’s individualized, professional yet laid-back environment, and did not hesitate to accept the job offer when it was presented to him. Alex’s time as an intern allowed him to learn new techniques, understand quality patient care, and develop his skills as a therapist. He was able to observe and utilize his learnings with real patients, providing him with first-hand experience in the career he would eventually dive into.

When not in the clinic, you will likely find Alex watching a Celtics game, checking out the newest foodie hotspots, or hitting the ski slopes during the colder months.
