What is a F.I.S.T. bike fitting?
The F.I.S.T. method fits athletes to their bikes. The method can be used to fit road, off-road, and stationary bikes, and places athletes in an optimized position for riding a bike. Riding a properly fitted bike can improve an athlete’s performance, enhance comfort, and reduce the risk of injury.
Adjustments are usually made to the saddle (height, tilt, and fore & aft); pedals (type, cleat type and position); handlebar (height, width and shape); stem length; and grip position.
Where can I get a bike fitting?
At this time, bike fittings can only be performed at our Yarmouth clinic.
How much does a fitting cost?
It varies by athlete, bike, and circumstance. Give our clinic a call and we’ll be able to give you an estimate!
