Avery Pomerleau, PT, DPT is a compassionate and skilled physical therapist who brings energy, focus, and a team-first mindset to every session. A recent graduate of Husson University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Avery is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and recover faster.

Sports Background Meets Clinical Expertise

Avery’s athletic background plays a key role in his treatment style. As a former competitive athlete in hockey, soccer, and snowboarding, he understands firsthand what it takes to recover from injury and get back to peak performance. He’s especially skilled in sports rehab, injury prevention, and functional strength training.

He works closely with patients of all activity levels—from student athletes and weekend warriors to active adults and older individuals—helping them rebuild strength, regain confidence, and return to what they love doing most.

Avery is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and he continues to expand his knowledge in manual therapy, movement science, and rehab innovation. He also follows guidance from the CDC’s physical activity recommendations and stays involved in sports injury rehabilitation best practices.

His patients appreciate his ability to explain treatment in a way that’s approachable and clear—so you not only get better but understand how and why the plan works.

Outside the Clinic

When he’s not treating patients, you’ll find Avery outdoors—skiing, hiking, or exploring new cities with his girlfriend. He’s a travel enthusiast (Paris is a favorite stop!) and always on the lookout for the next adventure. That love for movement and curiosity carries into every aspect of his patient care.
