Meet Sean – Physical Therapist in Yarmouth with a Whole-Body Approach
Sean, Physical Therapist in Yarmouth, joined the Reform team in 2022. Originally from Rhode Island, he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2017. Since then, Sean has become known for his empathetic, whole-person care—blending clinical expertise with an intuitive understanding of how the body moves and heals.
Blending Yoga, HIIT, and Strength into Personalized Care
Sean draws on a diverse background that includes yoga, Olympic weightlifting, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). As a result, he is uniquely equipped to support patients with a wide range of movement needs and goals. Additionally, his personal experience in these disciplines allows him to tailor exercises that feel both functional and sustainable.
Moreover, Sean believes that physical therapy should be empowering. By combining hands-on manual therapy with evidence-based functional exercise, he helps patients understand their bodies, reduce pain, and build long-term strength and mobility.
Helping You Decode the Complex
As a natural problem solver, Sean is committed to breaking down the “why” behind an injury. He takes the time to listen, educate, and help patients connect the dots in their recovery journey. Whether you’re recovering from surgery or looking to return to an active lifestyle, Sean brings both knowledge and compassion to every session.
Life Outside the Clinic
When he’s not working with patients, Sean enjoys exploring the outdoors. He spends his free time hiking, playing hockey, and cross-country skiing. He lives in Freeport with his wife, their dog, three cats, a flock of chickens, and four sheep—adding a dose of Maine farm life to his wellness philosophy.

Patient Review:
I needed physical therapy twice a week from August through October this year. My experience at Reform was nothing but positive. Of most importance, I feel great again thanks to the outstanding care Sean provided. His knowledge is encyclopedic, and he communicates explanations and instructions clearly. His personable approach made the hard work of healing less difficult. I’m equipped with the tools to continue to improve on my own thanks to Sean.
