Megan Fecteau, PT, DPT

Originally from Connecticut, Megan relocated to Maine for college. She earned her Bachelor’s in Applied Exercise Science from the University of New England (UNE) in 2022 and went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the same institution in 2025. She currently resides in Scarborough.

Outside of clinical work, Megan is often found on the move — training for road races, hiking trails, or skiing. These activities keep her in tune with the physical and mental demands of endurance sports, offering firsthand insight into the challenges her clients face.

Megan chose physical therapy as her career because of a deep-rooted love for movement and a fascination with the science behind how our bodies work. As a former cross country and track athlete, she understands the dedication, discipline, and occasional setbacks involved in training. Over the past three years, she has coached runners ranging from high school newcomers to older adult athletes, and now, as a PT, she specializes in working with runners and endurance athletes of all ages.

Megan’s approach is centered on individualized, hands-on care. She takes into account each person’s history, goals, strengths, and obstacles. She finds it especially rewarding to guide people through recovery and witness them return to activity — stronger and more confident than before.
