Nathaniel Runge, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist – Yarmouth

Nat Runge is a lifelong local and seasoned physical therapist who brings experience, energy, and empathy to the Reform Physical Therapy team. Born and raised in Yarmouth, Nat has served his hometown community as a practicing PT since 2008—and he’s excited to continue doing so now with the Reform Yarmouth clinic.

A Strong Academic and Athletic Foundation

His journey into the world of physical therapy began with a love for movement and performance. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from The University of Montana, Nat went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the prestigious MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. For over 20 years, he has specialized in outpatient orthopedics with a focus on helping patients return to the activities they love.

Moreover, what sets Nat apart is his personalized, upbeat approach to recovery. He combines thorough patient education, skilled manual therapy techniques, and just the right amount of humor and music to create an encouraging and effective healing environment.

As a former competitive swimmer and triathlete, Nat understands the physical and emotional toll of injury—and the deep desire to get back to peak performance. As a result, that lived experience drives his mission to help patients reach their full potential with treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Over the years, Nat has completed countless continuing education courses, particularly in manual therapy. His hands-on techniques are designed to relieve pain, restore joint mobility, and improve posture, alignment, and overall body mechanics.

Outside of the clinic, Nat is a dedicated husband and father. At home, he and his wife Jen are raising three daughters in Yarmouth, and when he’s not in the gym or treatment room, you’ll find him embracing the rhythm of family life.

With deep roots in the community and decades of experience, Nat Runge, Yarmouth PT, is committed to helping his neighbors move better, feel stronger, and live fully—one session at a time.
