Dr. Jennifer Danley, PT, DPT is our newest therapist to join our Kennebunk team, working alongside Bobby Cochrane, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS & Brandon Bourgoin, PT, DPT! Jennifer currently calls Saco her home, living with her husband, their young daughter, and two cats, Wally & Daisy.
As with the majority of our staff, Jennifer is a born & raised Mainer! She grew up right in Windham and was a multi-sport athlete participating in softball, soccer, indoor track, and swimming while attending Catherine McAuley High School.
After high school, Jennifer went on to attend Simmons College in Boston, where she thrived both academically and athletically. She took varying courses while also participating in Division III Softball and graduated in 2015 with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Once she had earned her Bachelor’s she continued her studies and ultimately earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons in 2017.
Jen possesses a wide range of skills and characteristics that make her an excellent physical therapist and the perfect addition to our team. Since graduating, she has gained experience working for other private practice outpatient orthopedic practices which allowed her to establish a strong set of manual therapy skills, while also developing a strong passion for educating her patients and PT students she’s mentored. Upon meeting her, you will notice her demeanor is not only kind and calm, but cheerful and bright – the makings of a truly exceptional therapist in our opinion.
Her philosophy of care includes providing hands-on, individualized care to her patients, promoting patient advocacy and interdisciplinary communication with providers. Sound familiar? It should because it matches our Reform philosophy almost perfectly! High quality care + effective communication = happy, healthy patients!
Jennifer’s areas of interest are general orthopedics, post-operative & non-operative injuries, and vestibular & vertigo diagnoses. She has a compassionate, yet uplifting and positive personality which aids her in truly connecting with patients to help them achieve their goals and regain functional movement.
When not at the clinic, Jen enjoys spending time in Maine’s great outdoors with her family, tending to her gardens, and enjoying a nice round of golf on the course.
Want to get to know Jen better or score a spot on her schedule? Reach out to our Kennebunk clinic and we’d be happy to make it happen!
